CODE Welcomes new Director, Fund Development

CODE is pleased to welcome Tony Giampietro to our Ottawa team.

Tony assumed the position of Director, Fund Development with CODE in June, 2009.  Tony’s career development, in the disciplines of fundraising, communication and marketing, spans twenty years.  Prior to arriving at CODE, Tony was a member of the University of Ottawa’s capital campaign team that succeeded in reaching, and surpassing, its $200 million financial goal. 

His broad and varied employment experiences at the local grass roots and national levels with organizations such as the Ottawa Children’s Treatment Centre; the Canadian Lung Association; the Canadian Red Cross and the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada have equipped Tony with a good knowledge of the non-profit sector and of the various fundraising strategies that comprise a thorough and effective fund development program. 

Tony’s new role with CODE will allow him to draw on past experiences and knowledge to build on existing, successful fundraising initiatives and to introduce and manage new approaches in collaboration with the fund development team to move the individual, corporate and foundation giving program to higher levels
