CODE to Connect with Librarians at CLA National Conference

le 28 Mai, 2012

CODE is looking forward to taking part in the Canadian Library Association (CLA) National Conference, which will be held in Ottawa from May 30th to June 2nd.

A poster presenting the role that libraries and librarians play in CODE’s programs to promote literacy in developing countries will be on display on the Trade Show floor in the Canada Hall of the Ottawa Convention Centre throughout the conference.

CODE is also honoured to have been chosen as the charity of choice for conference speakers' gifts. Executive Director Scott Walter will be briefly addressing conference attendees during the opening ceremonies on May 31th.

Support to community libraries and professional development workshops for librarians in developing countries are an important element of CODE’s comprehensive literacy model known as Reading CODE and we are excited to have an opportunity to exchange on this topic with CLA members from across Canada.

See you at the conference!
