Literacy in The Wrap

Child education, literacy supported by we(e)press
At we(e)press, they're all about creating opportunities for children to help children and giving parents, teachers, librarians and mentors a way to honour their kids as global citizens.
we(e)press is an Ottawa-based Canadian children's book publishing house dedicated to raising funds in support of child education and literacy projects in the poorest regions of the world through the sale of books for young readers. They believe that literacy is fundamental to education and skills creation and that these enable a sustainable future. Literacy is a lifelong process, built on quality early-primary education and the fostering of a love of books, reading and learning.

Past Wrap Articles:
CODE has started contributing regular literacy-themed articles in a new Ottawa Citizen feature called “The Wrap” - a four-page pull-out section delivered Wednesdays, as part of the Ottawa Citizen’s Flyer Force delivery, and Fridays, to home delivery subscribers!
The column will be shared with other literacy organizations and partners of CODE and is a wonderful opportunity for CODE to share its literacy stories.
